Topper of the Year, is an inspiring, rousing coming of 

age tale of an entire generation of youngsters studying 

at DPSC (Dhirendra Pratap Singh College), a prestigious 

college in Delhi. It's a humorous and riveting campus 

drama that states that there's more to this Facebook 

generation than iPod and low-waist jeans.

Buddy Project characters

1. Keshav Desai (K.D.)

 The Bad Boy. He has own set of morals and his own

way of going about getting what he wants.

2. Kiya Gujral  

 The Diva. She hates living in the shadow of her famous  

elder sister.To seek everybody's attention , she has 

bocome something of tantrum queen

3.  Ranveer shergill (RV/Nonu)

 The ladies love him. And why wouldn't they. He’s the 

musician with his charming ways around the school. He 

does not like to get involved or commit to anything 

meaningful leading to him leave behind a lot of broken 

hearts.

4. Panchi Rastogi (Moti)

 Sweet, bubbly and full of life. She is comfortable with 

being plump & likes to eat. Panchi is everybody's best 

friend and quick to smile and laugh.

5. Pratham Punj (Piddhi) 

 The Wacko! He’s always out there trying to top off his 

last big adventure or to match the legendary pranks of 

his hero, Junglee Jaitley.

6. Babita mallik (Bobby)

 Tomboy, short-tempered and quite a fighter. She wants 

to be in the football team and whack the boys. She plays 

way rough than any of the boys. She dances like a boy. 

Jaitley helps her find her feminine side.

7. Samar Pratap Singh (Nawab Sahab)

Say hello to Nawab Saab. He carries himself with royal 

arrogance. He is suave, sophisticated and elegant. But 

he has a dark secret which he is looking to hide from 

everyone at Royal Academy.

8.  Juhi Gupta 

 Pretty as a princess. She believes that she deserves the 

life of a princess. But her middle class parents can't give 

her that. She wants to be noticed by the media so she 

can become an actress/model. She's so caught up with 

her looks that she has never looked at whether she has 

any other abilities or not. Jaitley discovers that she's a 

genius and brilliant in academics.

The series is based in the fictional, Royal Academy, a  

once prestigious school which is looking to regain its 

lost glory. The students are bright but reckless without a 

force to guide them. Principal Ramanujam has seen its 

ups and downs and decides on a plan to bring back the 

best of the old alumni to guide the new.

BFF Varun & Prithvi

Varun was a close friend of the bff's . when sanju

rejected his love, he committed suicide. but it was found 

that he was alive. He loves sanju and hates Prithvi. His 

sister is prof. anu.

Prithvi Sanyal

Prithvi is the new student in the college. He is quite 

mysterious. He is very good looking and handsome and Ela 

seems to secretly like him. Prithvi has been fighting with 

Sanjana since his first day at school. He calls Sanju - BFA 

which means a Baby Faced Assassin. They both are 

partners in the 'Mock Trials', for which Prithvi and Sanjana 

have to work together. BFFs find out that Prithvi's theory on 

Varun's case is exact and have to deal with him cleverly.

1. Swayam shekhawat 

 

The Lover Boy Swayam shekhawat . He is a cute innocent weakling who loves Sharon a lot (who is a dazzler and hates weaklings). Swayam is very loyal and one of a kind who doesn't like to show off even he has a rich owner just like dazzlers. He tried a lot to make Sharon fall for him but Sharon didn't like him because he was an weakling. In this things Swayam also became very good friend of Reyaansh. Reyaansh even helped Swayam for making Sharon get affected by him. Rey and Swayam became best friends after kriya's exit.

2. Neha Kapoor

  Neha was the first friend of Kriya when she joined the St. She has won the national freestyle girls dance award in the dance camp , Louis college. She is very bad in English but tries to overcome it. Neha was always called 'Miss verbal diarrhea' or 'Reverse English'. When Kriya found out her hidden talent of dancing she asked Neha for joining her team and Neha joined the Weaklings.  Neha is a very filmy girl. She flirts with a guy named Ali in front of Vicky to make Vicky jealous. She danced with Vicky in Bollywood night She proposes Vicky in a restaurant and they get together. She and Vicky were the lead dancers in the Bollywood night of the dance fest.She is the first one to accept Taani in the team. Now she thinks that Vicky is interested in Ashi but he is not.

5. Amar Kalra

  Amar is known as a 'Totla' in the college. However, he does not stammer when he is drunk. He also works as a waiter in the college canteen. He has feelings for Rini of the dazzlers team. He is good in TUTTING.

6. Bharat

He is a hot-headed guy and ready to pick up a fight anytime. He works as a part-time mechanic and is crazy about cars. Initially he was not interested in joining Kria's team but after persuasion finally gave in. He shares a close friendship with Swayam and often repairs his cycle for free. Due to his limited vocabulary in English, he finds every English word to be a Gaali [a slang or an abusive word]. He also has a soft corner for Vishakha. Before the dazzlings and the weaklings became friends, Sharon often insulted and hurt him due to his poor background. He is the only person in college whose day is celebrated 'THE BHARAT DAY'.

 1. reyaansh singhania (Rey)

  Reyaansh is the college heart-throb Also a rich kid, Rey is business tycoon Ranvijay Singhania's son. He is a great dancer.He and Sharon are the dancing couple of St Louis College, but his interest in Sharon does not go beyond being best friends. He considers Sharon as his best friend, along with Vicky and Nilesh as his 'best buddies' . Swayam and Rey have grown closer to become best friends.he had been in sorrow over the sudden breakup with kriya but since the entrance of taani he is concentrating more over her . He became possessive about Taani and could not bear it if any one dared to try and hurt her and dint realize his love for her.Had so much of misunderstandings with her but now he accepted his love for Taani and they are madly in love with each other and is in a relationship.

2. Sharon Rai Prakash 

 Sharon and rey were best friends.She likes Swayam but she never tells him. She have to friend Simmi & Rini. 

3.Vikramjeet Kalsi (Vicky)

He is Rey's next to best friend or as they like to call themselves "The Chuddy Buddies". He is like a brother to Rey. He is very funny and Neha's ex-boyfriend.

4. Nilesh Kotian (Nil) 

He is best buddies with Rey and Vicky. He and Vicky makes up the comic impact of the show.He has feelings for Simi of his team.Although, now when Simmi is in US, he misses her a lot. At last Simmi comes back to India and now they are together.

5.  Simmi Malhotra 

She is Sharon's best friend. She has developed a crush on the college counseller along with the other girls. She likes Nilesh of her team. She always admires Sharon in what she does.She wants to win Nilesh's heart.  According to recent episodes, it's revealed that Nil likes Simmi, with her being unaware about it.

6.  Rini Shah

She is the rather slow one out of all of the dazzlers and is always worried about her make up and looks. She is one of the few people who can understand Amar's words. She has a soft corner for Amar of the Weaklings team. Whenever Amar says anything, she starts looking at him thoughtlessly. Apart from the Dazzlers, she also admires Sharon in what she does.

  This show is based on the youth and their ambitions. While they struggle to achieve their goals, they go through a series of relationship of various kinds. Dil Dosti Dance is about the felling, friendship and dance of group of young dancers.

                          Sanjana Roy (Sanju)

               

      Though she is a tomboy. she is the daudhter of a criminal lawyer, Devashish Roy. She has a 6 years old younger brother. She doesn't trust boys. She is confident enough her intelligence and capabilities. Sanju trust her best friends. Sanju falls in love with Prithvi.  

                                    Elakshi singh(Ela)   

              

      Ela is bold,likeable & happy-go-lucky girl.Mac was her boyfriend but now he is her friend.                                              

        

                        Vinita maheswari(Vinnie) 

                       

      Vinnie belongs to a conservative family, where the son is the apple of the eye so she acts out against her mom. Vinnie tries to rebel against norms. She steps out of the house in a long dress. But on the way it is revealed that she is hiding a short dress underneath. she takes off the skirt before stepping in college. she want to prove herself infront of her parents and her friends.

         The show revolves around the lives of students of a prestigious law college, Westwood college of Law.The three girls Ela, sanju & Vinnie call themselves best friends forever but thier friendship is challenged when another member of their group, Varun , commits suicide at a Valentine's Day party.
